Valued at $400 each, this limited-time offer is available to SCE&G residential electric customers who have their old freezers and refrigerators picked up through SCE&G’s appliance recycling program by April 30.

All participating customers will get $50 back in cash when they recycle their old refrigerators and freezers.

Scheduling a pickup is easy, convenient and free of charge.

Each prize pack includes a Honeywell Lyric Round Wi-Fi Enabled Thermostat, two advanced power strips, two low-flow shower heads and five LED bulbs.
“Managing your thermostat is one of the best ways to save energy, and a smart thermostat makes it even easier,” said Gerald Freeman, who manages SCE&G’s appliance recycling program. “We know our customers are interested in saving energy, and we wanted to provide them this chance to help save energy at home as the temperatures outside start heating up.
