ROCKETMAN – featuring Cayce’s Greg Bickley, results in $24,000 donation to children’s shelters

Presented for the eighth consecutive year on Feb. 17, ROCKETMAN is a Tribute to Sir Elton John. It performed by Greg Bickley, of Cayce, along with the Tokyo Joe Band at The Koger Center for the Arts.

The show is presented to benefit the Nancy K Perry and Palmetto Place Children’s Shelter. The sold-out show was sponsored by DREAM MAKERS General Federation of Women’s Clubs of South Carolina.

DREAM MAKERS, along with Tokyo Joe Productions announced that $24,050 will be donated to support approximately 50 children that reside in the 3 local children’s shelters. “It takes around $98 per day, per child,” said Jill Lawson, Executive Director of Palmetto Place Children’s Shelter.

The band consisted of Charlie Morgan on drums, Dale Burgess on guitar, Kell Donald on bass, Anthony Sightler was precussion, Will DiMirra played keyboard, Seth Bickley played the mandolin and Brian Peck played keyboard as well as the sax.
