Lexington County Sheriff’s Department investigating fatal shooting

“Deputies responded to the 100 block of Roundtree Road in Gaston about 10:15 (Monday) night and found a man fatally shot,” according to Adam Myrick, Public Information Officer for the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department. West Columbia will not pick up garbage on Labor Day

The City of West Columbia Sanitation Department will not pick up garbage or recyclables on Labor Day (Sept. 7.) Garbage that is normally picked up on Monday will be picked up on Tuesday (Sept. 8) or it may take until Wednesday (Sept 9.) to get all stops in. A release from the city is posted below.
