A 22-year-old Columbia man was  sentenced to prison for robbing Cayce and West Columbia Waffle Houses, and committing other crimes in July of 2014. A West Columbia man has been sentenced to 35 years in prison for sex crimes against a minor, according to the Eleventh Circuit Solicitor’s office. Judge R. Knox McMahon imposed the sentence against Martin A. Rodriguez, 24. Two men are wounded after being shot.  Capt. Scott Morrison  of the West Columbia Police Department said police are investigating a shooting that happened early Friday morning. Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who was killed in a one-vehicle, overnight,  accident.  At approximately 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, in the 1100 block of Crystal Springs Drive in Pelion, Kevin E.
