Kalieah S. Richardson, 8, of Batesburg, died from the injuries she received in an accident involving a logging truck and the vehicle in which she was a front-seat passenger. Hundreds of girls, in the Girls on the Run (GOTR) program descended upon Cayce, Saturday.  The 5K run is the end of a 12-week training regimen for third-through-fifth-grade female students. Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has released the names of four people killed in a fiery crash, Friday evening. Those who died in the crash are: Harry C. Gunnells, 73 of Saluda. Brookland-Cayce, Airport lose in playoffs

Georgetown defeated Brookland-Cayce 33-13 at Georgetown. Airport lost at Hartsville, 35-10. The undefeated Red Foxes are the top 3A team in the state. Girls on the Run will begin at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. It starts and finishes at the Historic Columbia Speedway. More than 2,300 runners are expected to participate . Many Lexington 2 students will be running.
