Mike Green, Marland Hardy Mitchell, and Erin Porter won West Columbia City Council seats, Tuesday.

Green retained the District 1 seat he won in a special election in June. Pete Fisher and Virginia McGrady opposed him in Tuesday’s election.

Mitchell defeated incumbent Councilman Boyd Jones in District 5. Porter defeated two opponents vying for the District 7 seat vacated by retiring Councilman Tommy Parler.

Mickey Pringle was a third candidate in District 5. Richard C Walker and Leslie Efron-Platt were the two other candidates in District 7.
