Gray Collegiate Academy Cheer Team wins at Cheer Classic

West Columbia’s Gray Collegiate Academy won the Debbie Rogers Cheer Classic last Saturday. It was the first time GCA in the school’s history to win the title,  that was held at the Colonial Center downtown, said Todd Helms, president of GCA. The Gray cheer squad won the the state crown in 2A cheerleading.

The cheerleaders are coached by Ali Cline.

Helms said the cheer team represented the school well, and the whole student body is proud of the win. He also said the should be commended for its hard work and dedication.
