The City of Myrtle Beach is reopening all of its public beaches. The announcement allows people access to one of the state’s most visited recreational destinations. The beaches has been closed by order of Gov. Henry McMaster until last week due to the coronavirus.

Myrtle Beach City Manager John Pedersen rescinded the emergency order Tuesday that had closed public beach access and parking areas. The City of North Myrtle Beach opened its beaches last week when McMaster lifted the order that kept them closed.
