Record number working, Lexington County has second-lowest unemployment rate

South Carolina’s unemployment rate remained unchanged from September to October at 3.3 percent, according to the S.C. Department of Employment and Workforce monthly report. Lexington County had the second-lowest unemployment rate in the state at 2.8 percent. Part of West Columbia Riverwalk opened

The West Columbia Riverwalk Park and Amphitheater is open from the Amphitheater to the south end (toward Cayce) of the Riverwalk. The Moffatt Street entrance to the West Columbia Riverwalk remains closed due to flooding.
