Joseph “Clay” Dixon received the Lexington Medical Center Foundation Live Well Award, Tuesday morning. Clay lives in Swansea and is a ninth-grade student at the Swansea High Freshman Academy. At the Chapin-vs-Brookland-Cayce football game, Friday, some BC alumni presented an authentic jersey that was worn by Bearcat players in 1949, 1950 and 1951. The jersey belonged to former player Harold “Hambone” Jones.
